Bloomberg HT opted for EMS for the transition to HD

Bloomberg HT, the leading TV channel in economy news in Turkey, has switched to HD by renewing its systems with EMS products. In MCR (Master control room) the channel uses 2 Easy OnAir as playout, one master and one slave. Easy OnAir is integrated with the SAP automation they used in advertising and reservation. In the studio, Easy Onair is also preferred as a studio playout. Easy MAM for archive and media asset management, Grass Valley Edius Workgroup for assembly sets and Easy Ingest for recording are used. As workflow, images from sources are recorded with Easy Ingest. As soon as it can be started to edit with Edius, after starting to recording. Importing files to Edius and sending outputs is done thanks to Easy MAM and EDIUS integration. For Easy MAM files, Easy Playlist Editor is used for planning and scheduling and Easy Onair Playout Server is used for broadcasting. Social media broadcasts are thought of as a separate channel broadcast. The creation and continuity of the broadcasting here is provided by the EMS Channel in a Box. EMS CiaB is used to broadcast live video from the camera with live input. Easy OnAir is used for non-live file-based broadcasting and Easy CG is used for graphics embedding in both cases. Easy Social Media Encoder is used for live streaming these created images on social media platforms such as Facebook or YouTube. Bloomberg HT channel is an economy channel and broadcasts across Turkey.
